Woke up to this today. I guess im gonna have to go pick up a gasket and some fluid now. Freaking sucks, that fluid is no more than 60 days old.....Sh!+!!!!!!!!

Pulled a replacement D44A from the junk yard this morning (mine is toast and will eventually do an 8.8 swap).

Had it out in about an hour (using a cordless sawzall) along with a really nice Class 3 trailer hitch.

$120 out the gate for both....

Changed a bad gasket with RTV silicone, and didn't work. Now gotta get an actual gasket and about 3 quarts of fluid...

That sucks man. What a mess. I have the re usable mopar gasket and it's been good so far. A little leak but my pan flange was bent a little.

When you get that gasket, make sure you get a rubber gasket or leather if you can find it. Stay away from cork.

Plumbed for rear rad, filled with coolant, finished 4 link, rebuilt rear frame where po cobbled it, plumbed most of the air compressor, mounted fire extinguisher, figured out full droop for limiter straps, finished intake.

Where would I get one of these reusable gaskets. The dealer I imagine.

Yeah, never liked cork. The ones that are molded rubber are better, but more expensive... Will get it soon...

I got mine from kolak@aol.com for 15 bucks but I wasn't in any hurry to put it on.

Napa or various parts dealers.
I put some rtv on the pan then seated the gasket on that.

I painted and installed my new winch bumper from RLC today!

96 ZJ 132k miles - 5.5" IRO long arm lift kit, IRO adjustable track bar, IRO extended SS brake lines, 33 12.50 15 GoodYear Wrangler MT/Rs W/Kevlar, 15x8 Cragar soft 8's, Durango steering box, IRO OTK steering, RLC Front winch bumper. Awaiting install: JKS BPEs, XRC8 Winch

I ripped the front axle out of the parts 93, I'm trying to decide what all esle to salvage.
