Yeah, but that involves a ton of downtime and money. I can have a bracket custom built and put an Eaton M112 from a Jaguar XJR on it in a week.

Get the DuraTracs. I have 6k miles on mine and they still have 18/32 of tread

That's what I'm leaning towards. I don't think the retreads would be a good idea because I do a lot of highway driving. You see how semi retreads go when you're dodging them on the highway. I don't think I need them separating at 65 mph.

Yeah. I know. But it still scares me when I think about it. I'll save a ton of money if I go with the Guard Dogs, but I'll have piece of mind with new tires. Eh. We'll see. I'm not making any moves soon anyhow. Mine are still decent. I need to ditch my 249 before I think about new tires. My 242 looks so lonesome in the garage. I need to get that in.

Tire rotation. Happy with the Toyo Open Country A/T. 60K miles so far still got 6/32 tread left

I didn't do the t-case swap or the shift kit install myself (both messy PITA jobs I didn't want to deal with). Other than that, yeah. I did 99% of the engine work myself, etc.
