for the speakers instead of the adapters you can just centerpunch and drill new holes in the door. pretty easy and saves a few bucks

ugh i agree. i traded my sub system (that i got for 80 bucks lol) for my buddys 42" plasma. i love the tv but dang i miss the subs and now can hear my blown driver side speakers more money to spend

OT: drove it around. and came up with a pretty BA design for the shifter trim bezel i'm gonna make in my head

ok cool yeah thats what i did in my xj..just drilled new holes in the door. i was planning on that but man i miss my subs. i really would like to get this 15" kicker but that would take up alot of cargo room haha and my gf didnt like the subs in my jeep so i cant imagine she would like a gigantic sub in the back but oh well, my jeep

first time driving it in the snow, did great! even with the 1/4 tread street tires, it still did better than my xj. it drifts better too

Picked her up last week, 98 limited 5.2 w/ 155k. Here's a shot after a quick wash & wax:

Trucks from some place they call canadaland though, so the entire engine was covered in white spots (salt :*( ) but some simple green took care of that. Luckily they did clean the car, the only thing with even a hint of rust is under the inside of the drivers door, bottom of rockers, hatch, hood, and rest is all awesome shape though.

Put my stereo outta the car in it:
Pioneer 780mp
ID Ctx65cs comps in front & rear doors, deadened w/ second skin
On two sundown 125.2's
I have a sundown 1000d and a sa-8 waiting to be glassed in the passenger rear space (like the jl stealthbox's) once it gets warmer out)

Also this weekend I did a quick tuneup:
Redtop
Lifetime wires, cap & rotor
msd Coil
Champion plugs
Royal purple oil & k/n filter
New pcm (took a poop on my 4 hours after I took it off the lot )
And I went through and checked all fluids and greased everything.

Only thing I see in the future is tires (these should have about a year on them, but I've got the itch to get some 31" retreads already ). And I feel the front skipping just a hair when on full lock, so I think the 249 vc is taking a dump, so I'm gonna start looking for a 242, and I figure I'll do a u-joint swap while I have it apart.

And the list of mods to see the jeep in the future:
-IRO 3.5"
-Fab up front/rear bumpers and sliders
-Exhaust
-Few cosmetic things (5.9 hood vents, etc)
-get the rims powdercoated (they're not in too god of shape)

But as we all know how projects go, plans will certainly change along the line. I just wanted to have everything in one post, so a few years from now I can look back and say holy moly look at what I've done.

And sorry for the long post, I'll make up for it and get some good (dslr) pics tomorrow for ya guys !

They are really fun to drift, especially with the 249.

Scraped the windows so I could see.

93 red ZJ 190k 4.0. Spent more money than I should have ...

Isn't red the only color a vehicle should be?
If at first you don't succeed, use more speed.

I thought there was a get together at Cap's. Guess I need to troll over to the Minnesota thread and see if it's still happening.

Mine's on the 14th. Gifts should be in the form of cash or a high-lift jack.
