Picked her up last week, 98 limited 5.2 w/ 155k. Here's a shot after a quick wash & wax:
Trucks from some place they call canadaland though, so the entire engine was covered in white spots (salt :*( ) but some simple green took care of that. Luckily they did clean the car, the only thing with even a hint of rust is under the inside of the drivers door, bottom of rockers, hatch, hood, and rest is all awesome shape though.

I have a sundown 1000d and a sa-8 waiting to be glassed in the passenger rear space (like the jl stealthbox's) once it gets warmer out)
Also this weekend I did a quick tuneup:
Lifetime wires, cap & rotor
Royal purple oil & k/n filter
New pcm (took a poop on my 4 hours after I took it off the lot
And I went through and checked all fluids and greased everything.
Only thing I see in the future is tires (these should have about a year on them, but I've got the itch to get some 31" retreads already
). And I feel the front skipping just a hair when on full lock, so I think the 249 vc is taking a dump, so I'm gonna start looking for a 242, and I figure I'll do a u-joint swap while I have it apart.
And the list of mods to see the jeep in the future:
-Fab up front/rear bumpers and sliders
-Few cosmetic things (5.9 hood vents, etc)
-get the rims powdercoated (they're not in too god of shape)
But as we all know how projects go, plans will certainly change along the line. I just wanted to have everything in one post, so a few years from now I can look back and say holy moly look at what I've done.
