True story well 5/16 nylon nut and washer but yeah your right that Pissed me off to...But after installing them (6months later) IDK how I lived with out them Truly a quicker disconnect no fussing with broke zip ties or fishing twine threw the frame. literately less then 45seconds to disconnect

I just painted them with stained glass paint and a foam brush! You could do it yourself in about five minutes

Did the front sway bar today, rear sway bar I'll probably do tomorrow. Also managed to do this.

Guess I'm going to be getting that SYE sooner than planned. The snap ring on the other side did the exact same damned thing. The ones at the other end came out easily, but since that ends buggered I just put them back.

My ZJ

It's in there, I assure you. I carried every tool known to man in my jeep to fix it except the one I needed today, something to put out a fire. It's not a lift, a big set of tires, a winch, no bling.... Please learn one simple cheap lesson from my misery, get a Fire Extinguisher!!!! I would still have a Jeep if I had one....

I was going to do that but this looked cheaper (12 bucks)and I can tuck them really high up in the wheel well.

Squazz. No. My 9ner only had a rear tow hitch. No front hooks or skids. It was a floor model then company owned and then this old Jewish couple bought it and drove it for ten years. Then I got it. I am the 3rd owner of a 14 year old truck. I still want to know why it didn't come with all the hooks and skids though. Build sheet didn't say anything about it either.

Silly xxmikewalshxx always pack at least 1 fire extinguisher in every vehicle. It should be mandated in my humble opinion, since every vehicle that isn't electric runs on flammable fuel. (And even the electric ones burst into flame every now and then.)

Getting closer to putting my "Man Van" on the road. Cut out and replaced the only hole in the entire Jeep on the driver's side rocker panel. Bent up some new steel, welded it in and laid some black paint on it.

Threw the 35's on it and front bumper cover and took the body panel saw to it for "Mo betta clearance"....

Still need to install the rear lift springs and adjust the control arms. Then need to make some drive shafts.
