If u didn't break off the connections for the hoses, go to an auto parts store and get longer hoses and turn it sideways and tuck it in to ur bumper. That's what I did with mine just ran a zip tie to hold it till, I made a metal strap for it and held it on with self tappers

If you have emissions testing you may need it. If not, go without.

Yeah the whole top of the canister snapped off...

Thanks badbird, I'll run without. See if anything happens... Should I cap the hoses somehow? Or no big deal?

Been cleaning it for the past few days inside is "mostly" clean now. I'll finish the inside and underneath tomorrow.

Got locked out of the trunk today at the Tobyhanna Army depot. Had to load twenty bags of food through the side doors. Did a search and found how to get the hatch open, and found the latch is all messed up.

Off to the junk yard tomorrow for that and a bunch of other odd parts. Suppose to near 60 degrees.

Guys - discussion of eliminating any exhaust equipment is a federal offense. Just because you don't have inspection does not make it legal.

Also, discussion of emission equipment removal is not allowed on JeepForum. Any further posts debating or discussing removal or bypass of the evap canister will be deleted, and a warning will be issued.

Thanks

Hooked up my factory fog lights.

I have black outs on my headlights and another set of hellas not turned on. I think I'm good with lights for awhile.

Without discussing removal does the evap have anything to do with emissions? I thought it was to basically filter the fuel tank breather. If I'm wrong I'm sorry for discussing it. Only reason I said he may need it is because in some states I've heard there is a strict test where they may check if it is 100% original, but I don't think I've ever seen an evap code for one needing replaced so I assumed it wasn't emissions related.

evap has nothing to do with inspection. It is also not a federal offense. Just saying.

Took off the winch and bumper and was going to start on the tcase but I forgot my creeper at a friends place and my driveway is soaking wet so I ended up working on my truck instead lol. Took out my drop in liner and took off the tailgate, taking off some surface rust then bed liner time.
