For guys who have hammered their pinchweld...i took an angle grinder and zipped both sides off..now should i have hammered them over?? Instead of grinding them off? Is there a downfall to this?

A bit, you have nothing left holding the panels together. I've done mine and a buddy's xj and just take a cut off wheel and make cuts into the seam every 1-2", then hammer them over. Gives tire clearance but doesn't kill the structure

Meh, that's why God invented duct tape. I didn't cut the whole seam, just took the bottom like 6 inches down. Made the seam weaker, sure, but its still intact... For now

thanks for kind words nick. It is the IRO 3.5 inch lift (front to rear swap) 32x11.50 Mastercraft Courser MT's. We did some trimming on the front bumper to eliminate the little bit of rub he was getting. At first I didn't really like his choice in the one piece headlights but they are growing on me and I'm digging them now. He still has lots of plans for it but one thing at a time.
Heres a sideshot of it -

and heres a pic of the new headlights
