There is 2 joints mounted to the big center chunk. The 2 outer yokes should be in line with eachother. If you look you can see the joints are out because one yoke is twisted one way while the other is twisted the opposite. If you wiggled that joint it would have a lot of play. There should be none.

Ok gotcha, so if you're looking at the picture, the bottom joint on the right is closer to me than the lower joint on the left, being offcentered?

The gap should be equal. The closest yoke is almost touching the middle chunk, while the left yoke has a large gap or distance between the yoke and center chunk.

So what's my best option? Rebuild, buy rebuilt or get a new DS? Some ppl were telling me it can't be rebuilt, but looks like you can press out the ball joints.

They can be rebuilt, but they are one of the tougher joints to rebuild. If you don't know what your doing I wouldn't recommend it. Sometimes they are too far gone, I doubt that one is. You should have a good shop rebuild that one or get a jy shaft.

They have rubber flares? I wonder if they look ok and cheaper than bushwhackers. I'll search the web later tonight.

The rubber ones are universal. You buy a roll in different widths. Just make sure it has metal reinforced edge or they look like crap

Finished up my storage box, but I clearly did some wrong measurements and the top would only open 6 in.
.
So I took it off and a bottom piece of wood on the drawer so it would fit
