That's not where water gets in the different. Water goes in the axle tubes and easily makes it past the inner axle seals because its much thinner than gear oil.

Looked under my zj to find drive line vibration. I think I found it here. Can this end be rebuilt? Its the TC end to the front DS.

new front pads and rotors.

new mopar tailgate lift struts. yeah!!

snuffed out some rattles and vibrations on the interior using weather-stripping and foam strips.

This is why we are always screaming that tow hooks need brackets. The uniframe is paper without them.
