I went to the carwash with it and blasted all the mud off the bottom of it. I felt pretty bad because the owner was there. I had a bunch of mud all over the ground of the bay I was using. I paid extra to do my best to clean it off for him. He's a pretty nice guy so I didn't mind. He'll offer extra change if you need more time and does his best to take care of his customers. I find it odd for a carwash owner to be like that, but I don't feel bad spending my money there to get stuff cleaned up.

Man, this saltwater will kill cars. It ate up my xj after about 9 months of pure mudding. I was also going every Sunday non stop, so figures.... But if u do go, wash it really good once, and then run water on it every other day. Sh it will still come out a week later...

Im proud to say that within a month, I've turned my dangerous, unpredictable, wobbly and shaky Grand Cherokee into a solid, smooth and peppy car.

These past 30 days I've replaced the water pump, freeze plugs, coolant flush, oil change, sparkplug change, new rear brake pads, emergency brake cable adjustment, kickdown cable adjustment, wheel bearing replacement and a set of new tires that are finally all the same size and not oversized.

Now my car flys down the road and when I'm not pressing the throttle, it just glides straight and is so quiet inside now that i gotta check the gauges cause I think it's stalled but no it hasn't... It's just super smooth and quiet as of today after I changed my front wheel bearing and I can't wait to need something outside so I could drive it again! :-)

Great! I need to do that. It's about time. I'm not working tomorrow. I might just do that.

What a list!!!!

I drove mine around today, averaged 25mpg on the highway, at 60mph, which I was really happy with. I also practiced shifting my selec trac, which went great (only had it for two weeks, getting to know it better now). The new tires make the ride a lot better, and I'm hoping that will only improve when the A/Ts come in!

I have an American jeep though, so my reader tells me in both MPG and L/100km. On the highway I'm getting 25 cruising at 60mph No joke guys, I really have no reason to lie!

In town I'm lucky to get 13 though.
