Was going to replace rear shocks but changed wires, cap and rotor instead. Made absolutely zero difference to the way the engine starts (it cranks for 2-3 seconds before firing).

Starter maybe? Mine lagged on starting before I replaced it.

On topic, today I'm going to get off my butt and attempt to order shocks from kolak because after driving to santa Cruz I realized how old and non existent my shocks are. Scary!

Installed Safari snorkel. Clearance issues have made me decide to sell my BushWacker Flares.

did this to her. She doesnt like it when I "tear up" her insides.

trying to find the source of my "dash" lights not working/working when they want. tried a different headlight switch from U PUll It, not it. still have the problem. will try messing with the dash console itself. see if something is making a bad contact or soemthing.

The starter just cranks the engine over, doesn't it? There's no problem there. Now that I've ruled out the distributor, I think it's something to do with the fuel delivery - fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. Need to buy a fuel pressure tester!

I put a b&m handle on my factory ta shifter. Not a good plan. You have to make it just right to keep the detent unlocked, and then your detent is unlocked lol. Meaning you bump it while cruising at 60 and it could fall into park. Never installed that shifter. Don't do it.
