I went with the nitros, and I still have hydros in the rear and it is night and day. I would recommend the nitros.

The muffler on mine is the MagnaFlow. Never knew how it really sounded till the videos I posted earlier playin in the mud. It is pretty quiet at idle, but now I know how loud she can be when revved up some.

When it locked up it chipped a tooth off the ring, and 2 off the pinion. I got a new yoke and shaft then bolted it all together hoping to limp it through till new gears showed up. Sold that truck with the factory gears in it 5-10 years ago, never gave an ounce of trouble. Moral is, it's worth a shot if you can get the stubs out, and everything looks decent. Only cost 10 bolts and an hour of your time.
Ring and pinion gears are not something i have messed with alot truth is i only have done them once while i was in school. I dont want to pay a ton of money to get it fixed but i dont wantt to screw more stuff up. I inspected it and the pinion gear is fine but the ring gear has two teeth that are chipped. Its pretty amazing thats it cuz i drove three miles after it hapened. If i take the ring gear out and replace it will i still have to go through and adjust pinion depth and preload or will i just have to adjust for back lash.

On another note i have never heard of this happening either thats why i was a little surprised to see bolts coming out. I have pics but do not know how to upload them since they are on my phone.

Wow. I would try and get the stubs out. The ring gear is worth a shot chipped, if it doesn't work it will only harm what is already possibly bad. Yes if you replace the ring gear you need pinion as well, and bearings, and a complete setup. That's why I would try to fix what you have. Good luck.

Made a custom 4wd shifter cover/bezal that screws to the trany tunnel cover, waitin for the Novak conversions linkage to come. $154 is alota money for the linkage but it's a nice setup rather then the factory bs linkage and a nice option since I can't find any linkage for my 97 5spd ZJ should look nice on the side of the ax-15 to lol

Wash it really well with dawn dish soap, dry, tape off anything you do not want painted with frog tape, or remove it, like taillights, use scotchbrite pads to scuff all surfaces you want painted, this is the most important step as if you miss a spot the paint will not stick. Blow it down, start spraying, try to apply light even coats. As a light coat starts to dry it is sticky helping a little heavier coat stick without running.

What do you need the other side for? Is the clip a little push on metal thing?

I'm not sure what I'm missing here other than a little e clip(I'm assuming). And the harness for here would help with the wiring.
