Got my jeep all set up for my desert trip to the 2012 King of the Hammers Event.
Got the grille guard, tow hooks, and rock sliders, tail light brush guards put back on, also mounted the high lift jack and shovel on the roof rack.
Didn't finish until after dark.
Had to make a few trips to the hardware store and stopped at McDonalds for lunch where I took this pic.

I have 32" tires and 2" bb. I think I'm sagging a bit though. How high should I be and measuring from what two points. Please help, need to fix tomorrow morning.

You should measure about 20" from the center of a wheel to the bottom lip of the wheel well.

The measurements are on IRO's site for stock height. A standard duty suspension ZJ should measure 18.25" in the front and 18.5" in the rear. Both numbers assume you measure from the center of the hub to the bottom of an untrimmed fender.

Thanks. Is that for the front or rear? Isn't the front an inch higher usually?

I'm assuming that's with stock tires, right? Im sure larger tires would change that measurement.

I have 32" tires 2" bb and I'm 18.5" in the rear and 19.5" in front.

Tires will not change that measurement.

If you're only at 18.5" in the rear, your springs are sagged very badly.

For my ZJ, I went to work and drove it home. As I expected, leaving it all alone in a parking lot overnight as punishment and giving it a shiny new CB antenna when I got there was enough to convince the starter to work one more time so I could get it home, rather than having to fix it at work. So now it's stuck in the garage until Tuesday night when the new starter arrives.

After putting in my 65 dollar + harware Autometer trans temp gauge and sender, I decided that I wanted the Gramin EcoRoute. Anybody want a almost new trans temp gauge and brass hardware to go with it?

I'd say it's pretty close to accurate for stock springs. I bet no one on here has a stock ZJ without the Upcountry suspension that's higher than 18.5" in the rear. I'll trust IRO's measurements.

Didn't get very far with the work I had planned for today. I was going to replace the rear-main seal, oil pan gasket, and slap a valve cover gasket in it alongside my oil change, but the oil-pan drain plug won't torque down... I filled it up and it's not leaking oil from the plug but I'm not going to drop the pan until I either get a new plug that will torque down or a new oil pan.
