All the specs are in the video description. I got one of the quiter mufflers but Kolak can get you a Magnaflow or Flowmaster muffler that sounds however you like.

It was a 96 with niner stuff swapped it was a V8 i don't know what V8 but it also had the transfer case swap, front shaft and axles were swapped i could not believe it..... Only thing it didn't have was a sound bar...... Makes me wonder who in the hell had this jeep!

What color is it? It looked maroon in the pic.

'93 ZJ SE/Base Model/Sport/5.9 LTD clone.
Both built 5.9's have been sold & now rolled.

I've been doing quite a bit to my ZJ lately and keep meaning to do write-ups but I always forget to take the camera with me. So far I've replaced the front hub & bearing assemblies, the front CV-axles, brakes all around, water pump, radiator, thermostat, spark-plugs, air filter, re-wired the front door harness to get my windows working, refitted the drivers window to the track, mounted some 2001 Cherokee rims on it, and mounted a Cobra 19DXIV 40-Channel CB on the right side of my center console. Tomorrow I'm going to replace the rear-main seal, oil pan gasket, and valve cover gasket while doing an oil change.

Got mad at it and beat the starter with a crowbar, as the starter decided to take a dump today, leaving me at work with no ability to get to our other office to fix an issue. Hitting it didn't make a difference at all, it starts to crank, then disengages and free spins. Hopefully it'll start once it cools down enough so I can at least get it home.

If not, I get to pull the starter where it sits tomorrow, as it's parked under the building with only 8 feet of vertical clearance, so I can't get it towed home.

I have a broken wire drivers door. I understand that'll make all windows quit. Did you just replace the whole harness?

Bad solenoid or missing teeth on the flywheel possibly. Before going through all the hassle, check and clean all connections to the battery as necessary. On rare occasions, I've also got something like this started by cleaning followed by jumper cables... unlikely, but sometime the solenoid may be bad internally. Increasing the voltage going to it might just kick it over for enough time to get it started.

That's my thought, jump it to see if I can get it to crank up enough to get home. I know my battery cables are crappy (but connections are clean), and I've got a new set I'm prepping to go on soon. However, it doesn't crank slowly or weakly. I got it to crank almost long enough to fire up, it cut out just before it fired, but sounded fine for about 1.5 revs before that.

It doesn't sound or act like stripped flywheel teeth or anything. If it does have stripped teeth, it's a good opportunity to fix the slight leak from the front of the tranny. However, I'll be financially screwed, as it'll drain every penny I have to pay someone to drop the tranny to fix it.
