That's my thought, jump it to see if I can get it to crank up enough to get home. I know my battery cables are crappy (but connections are clean), and I've got a new set I'm prepping to go on soon. However, it doesn't crank slowly or weakly. I got it to crank almost long enough to fire up, it cut out just before it fired, but sounded fine for about 1.5 revs before that.
It doesn't sound or act like stripped flywheel teeth or anything. If it does have stripped teeth, it's a good opportunity to fix the slight leak from the front of the tranny. However, I'll be financially screwed, as it'll drain every penny I have to pay someone to drop the tranny to fix it.
