its a arb 9000 snatch block cost me around $100
it's about twice the size of my hand

I picked it up. I paid $198 for the case and a driveshaft. I figured that's not too bad. Cases around here at most yards are $200 so I think I did alright. The shaft has a small dent in it, but hopefully that won't throw off the balance. If it does, I'll be trimming my other DS to make it work.

Oh, I was also able to shift it by hand. In my infinite wisdom, I was pushing the wrong way. It also came out of a 96 but the build date was 02-06-98. I guess the PO of that Jeep swapped it at some point.

i put a new battery in it...was on the original one for 14 years and 218 thousand miles...so i guess i cant complain about that.

Could you put it next to a PS3 controller so those of us with the better system can get a size comparison?
