I wish I could convince the wife to move out there. I don't think "Our cars will last forever" is reason enough for her though. It sure works for me, however.

California sure is nice, but it's not worth it IMHO. Some can afford to live there, but not after a divorce

I could never move to Cali due to the CARB crap. My ZJ could never be registered in Cali, as it was a CA emissions setup from the factory, and hasn't been modified within their approved parts lists, etc.

Is that winch cable long enough to hook on to your dads truck now? That sucks, though.

Installed Bug Deflector and 1farad Cap

well in the last couple of days I changed the Cap and rotor on my Jeep and today I installed a bug defelector and window rain defelectors I picked up at my local Pick and pay, total cost of the defelectors was 10.00 Not too bad considering the local autozone wanted about 80.00 for them, I did pick up 2 1 Farad Caps for 20.00 and I picked up some heavy wire and jsut ran the wire and installed 1 of the Caps under the back seat, I dont' know if I am imagining it or not but after installing the Cap. my dash lights are a little brighterand I wired up my 2mtr ham radio amp.

is there any way to brighten up the dash lghts??

Tranny line blew off the radiator. Sucks because today it was 0 degrees.. I am gonna work on it later, I was going to winch it up the hill atleast but the trees were to small to winch off I would have just ripped them out and no light poles. My dad let me girl drive the truck down and I drove the truck while she worked the brakes and steered the Jeep home.

Yeah no kidding. And I have my Jeep always packed for cases like these. I have 2 blankets, spare jacket, boots, hats and last night, I had to go clean up my storage shed because some parts fell out and I put my gloves inside and forgot to put them back in the Jeep..dammit!
