I got my zj detained today

It has been snowing here since about 10pm last night and we have over a foot of snow and it is not supposed to stop until tomorrow morning.

I was on my way to get my sister from work and there was 3 cars stuck on an entrance ramp going downhill. I got around the first 2 and going around the third, I got too close to the shoulder (one tire width too far) and started to go into the ditch. Snow was up to my driver side window and I stopped right away. Within 5 minutes an avalanche (chevy) came and pulled me out. Thank goodness for front tow hooks, but with an old logging chain its not the safest.

So far It stoped leak from pan.. Also added Lucas slip fluid. Shifts like a dream now..

I prepped my luggage rack for repaint. It had gotten flaky and looked bad.

x2 I am looking to get a front and rear hitch for a portable winch set up but am not to sure on where would be best to install the front due to strength when pulling heavy rigs.

Not such an issue when sand wheeling though. I guess the sand would simply funnel through the receiver tube? I was looking at one form JC whitney with a winch plate, $389 or somethign like that but as usual, they don't ship to anyplace other than the states or Canada. Ah well.
