Got a hitch at the JY for my 95. Had to deal with some surface rust on it, but it cleaned up pretty well. Installed it today...now on to wiring.

That's what I want to do, take V8 TREs and swap them into my 4.0.. I will prolly buy them new

added a bolt on negative battery lead connector because my old one was going to cut in half anyday from corrosion, really wish i had more positive lead slack to do that connector(not that great of shape, the material just lets the nut tighten crushing the connector not giving it a great tight fit as it should. But itll have to do until I can afford a new wire set:\. Unless they make an extension or something some could link me to?

also changed my tensioner pulley, the old one wasnt shot, bearing looked fine. but really dirty, i assume this is what my sound was. the dirt. stilll a little noise from the tensioner though.. any thoughtS?

Hey Turbo we need to meet up.. I go through Benzenville everyday on my way to work..... Like I asked you in your turbo build thread, hopfully in the spring time you can gimme a hand with some mods to my Jeep?

I'm slowly bulding a stock pile.. I have a rear hitch sitting in my house that I waiting to put on, jsut bought brand new front tow hooks, looking at a front skid plate, looking at a 99+ intake on Monday and looking for 703 injectors. Then the last thing I need to buy is an APN header..

Sometimes I wonder why I spend all the money on the 4.0 when I could prolly buy a 5.9. But with my Jeep I know ALL the maintenance that I've done to my Jeep.. And I guess most parts I could swap to the 5.9 if I choose to go that route

And one last thing.... You should hear my Trans Am idle with my cam and GMMG c/b

I just picked up a Curt hitch 2 weeks ago at a JY for $50.. Thing is pratically brand new no rust.

I need to find wiring for my Jeep as well.. I really want to put a plug onto the hitch that I see on soo many vehicles but don't know how to do it

My hitch

You could buy a battery cut off switch that would mount on the battery, and effectively extend your cable. Your noise could be the idler instead of the tensioner.

Then either the tensioner itself is bad, or the new pulley is bad.

If you can't figure it out you could ship it to me. I read somewhere on here how they mount, believe you remove something under there and sandwich one side.
