Today's to-do list:
-re install the front tire.
-warm truck up.
-meet up with buddy that has TJ
-find somewhere to do a little winter wheeling
-get flex-y

Bought the car in 97, then dd and beat it until around 05. Built it to that, but it lived in the shed, had Lloyd build me a custom solid roller, and rework my 210 afrs, put together a 396 e85 mule. It made 628 na, and had 2 150 shots that never got hit. Engine never made it into the car. Sold it all.

The ls series engines are cheap these days. Especially the 5.3s that make 280-350 with no emissions and tuning. They can be had for $600 fully dressed. There really isn't a better performance, reliability upgrade out there. My computer guy does the tune, security, wiring, everything to make it a 5 wire hookup for $500. I've done a few ls swaps over the years, currently completing my wife's 39 rod, but I'm waiting to get my crawler back to see how fun it's gonna be in the zj. I'll make it work.

Well basically all i have done from the incident on page 471 is fix the tire, started to look things over and test drove it. It looks like nothing was bent/broke underneath the jeep so far. The steering wheel is way off now, havent had the time to see if anything is bent up there. Today im gonna try to pound most of that dent out and cover up that bare metal with some primer so it doesnt rust. Ill have to do an alignment, also, which will really tell me if anything is wrong. Then i think im gonna take it in to get an estimate on fixing the body damage/painting it. Im just kinda curious and if i have the money i think i will go ahead and get it done. If it is too expensive then i will try to do everything myself to get it close to looking like it did before the accident. Im still bumbed out about the situation but worse things could have happened.

went to tighten somethings up for tomorrows trail run and found a rear upper control arm mount ripped off the body guess that explains all this squeaking at the end

You selling that mufllex exhaust? I would love that on my firebird. The 3in I have now needs to be upgraded. I love the welds. I have the old school draglites, but I think they look good

Yes I'd love to sell both, also have super comp lt headers. Exhaust is 3in from collectors into a huge flow master collector, it's 4.5 from there back to the spintech muffler which is 4.5 in, dual 3 out. I couldn't find a full exhaust that would flow more than this beast.

No I bought it from a guy in the cities that had it on a 96 Camaro. To be honest I have never measured the mid pipe, but it actually looks like five. I took it off his car, it was a part out, it was tight but fit with the bmr adjustable torque arm I bought too. I'm not sure the difference between 3-4 gens, but I'm sure you could make it work as I'd have to sawzall it at some welds anyway as I brought it home on a snowmobile trailer. It's huge.

I swapped in the V8 Tie Rod i got at the JY last week with poly boots and a new TRE and DAMN the improvement in the steering was greater than I exprected. I cant wiggle the steering wheel without it turning anymore. My old TREs must have really been shot.

Nice! That is a wicked exhaust. I like how spintech mufflers sound too. Im pretty sure from the mid pipe to the tips, 3rd and 4th gen exhaust are pretty simular. So I think it could work.

Finished polishing and waxing under my jeep today.
Fixed a transmission pan leak where one of the pan bolts where striped out.
Replaced this broken rubber mat that goes under the oil pan, although I don't really know why they put it there.

Only those who will risk going too far
can possibly find out how far one can go.
