My ZJ was broken into AGAIN. 2nd time in 5 months. took my radio, a small amp, and my inverter. Oh, and "they" broke the same window as they did months ago. Damn, doesnt feel good when its in your home.

Sorry about the rant. BOT, cleaned the glass out. LOL..

this is where my inverter was.

here you can see where my amp was. they had time to unbolt it.

maybe, I only got 2 neighbors that I speak to. Alot of empty lots in this new development. But right next door is the "Hood". Bunch of lowlives that will do anything for the next hit. $20 sounds good to them....

It sure is.. My neighbors TJ and Charger were broken into 6 days ago. Same MO, broken rear window, and stole only electronics. The TJ had plastic windows and were slashed with a blade. It is defenitely the same FU%^ers...

Time to install a 2 way alarm, not hook up the siren, and buy a gun. When the alarm goes off, your keychain will vibrate and your Jeep will just sit there. Go outside with your gun and give them a good scare.

EDIT: I just saw you live in Texas so I guess you probably already have a gun. Just get the alarm.

You know, ive never been a fan of alarms. But imma go look at the one youre talking about. That way they dont get scared off untill I come out with my .40. Then give em a good beating with a bat to the knees..

thanks.

Got my PS pump back on. The return line goes on in a different spot than the old unit so I had to get another length of hose.
My wife cleaned the inside of the windows while I was working under the hood.

Back on the road

a few years ago
Mine was stolen from a tranny shop parking lot where they found the keys. But when I used to live in the hood, my factory alarm deterred no less than 4 attempted break ins in a year. Why anyone disarms it vs. Fixing the factory alarm baffles me.

Because around here there are very few break ins and my little blue flashing light is enough to deter them even though there isn't actually an alarm haha.

Plus it doesn't look like there's anything worth stealing in it haha.

anybody have any experience with these alarms. The only reviews i seem to find are from the company that sells them, Sonic electronix.com

someone said that they come from the same company as Viper alarms. so, any input.

Junk yard finds

Hit the local pick n pull and spent $12.65 plus a dollar to get in. Found they had 2 5.9s in the yard. snagged a couple things. A set of hood louvers with drip pans, a set of drip pans, set of emblems and a set of WJ front tow hooks. Might go back tomorrow. One of the 5.9s has the original rims on it. To bad I dont have 5.9.

You drive a tj, we drive a zj. We have more power while you get more shower. We get the v8 while you get there too late. You have 2 doors well, we have 2 more. Ours costs a grand while yours has a price we cant stand.
