Probably a dealer item. I don't think they cost too much, even for dealer parts...

Swapped in some slightly longer pushrods to increase my lifter preload a little. Valvetrain is pretty quiet now, just a little light clatter (to be expected with the cam and higher ratio rockers).

Must be a headlight kinda day. I went up to the yard and grabbed some absolutely mint housings off a '94. Thing must have been kept in a garage it's whole life..

Also picked up a windshield washer resivoir sensor so my VIC will stop beeping and flashing at me every time I start it up..

Those clips are definitely not available at the dealer. They sell the headlight as an assembly. They charge an arm and a leg for the lights too. I went to the JY and pulled the clips off of some really yellowed and/or cracked lights. I didn't want to take them off anything that looked nice. I hate when people break stuff to get things.

I sat and dreamed about driving the zj again. 2 months after putting the 4.5 iro lift the motor went. In the process of yanking it out and rebuilding it.

Picked up another ZJ today for pretty cheap. Only thing keeping it from running was the alarm system- so we went back this afternoon after purchasing it and grounded the wire in the door panel. Started on up and brought it home

I've been without mine for 2 weeks now. It's been sitting at my buddy's shop. He hasn't had the freespace yet to get it up on a rack so we haven't started working on it. I miss it. What makes it worse is my friend (todd4198) just picked up a ZJ the day after I brought mine to my buddy's shop. I've been stuck driving this disgustingly dirty Buick Crosse (the "le" is missing on the back) as a loaner. It's not even a fun loaner because it's the shop's loaner. I can't have fun with it and beat the piss out of it.

Dealer was the first place I tried lol.

This is the parts list they have

The good news is adjusters are only $8 lol but the bad news is the headlight clip is not listed there ....

went out checked all the fluids and tires, drove up to the gas station put some go juice in, brought it home and parked it. I am doing a little shopping and was trying to remember how many bulbs are in the instrument cluster, I was hoping somebody had the figure on the top of their head so I didn't have to pull it out to count bulbs. I was thinking it was 6 or 7. Oh yeah its a 97.
