I thought it was pretty cool and they got back to me in literally just a couple hours. There were 2 discrepancies with the build sheet though. First, my ZJ definitely had a 90 amp alternator from the factory, not a 117 amp. Second, I don't have a cargo compartment cover. I guess the PO could have taken that out and forgot about it, but who knows? Maybe it was originally there, maybe it wasn't. I probably wouldn't use it anyway. That's what my 5% tint is for, right?

EDIT: And damn, that's a long *** post...

Reassembled my front dana 30 witha new cross shaft pin and its still messed up. now i gotta look for a stock dana 30 carrier with 3.73 gears to replace mine with. I guess my attempt to save a couple of bucks was in vain. I do need a whole new "insides" of the dana 30.

oh, and checked my motor mounts. Trashed horribly. need replacement ASAP.

Noise

I had all the spider gear replaced in the rear....next up is a noise....front shaft bearings or something.....we'll see.

It's like 2 degrees right now, literally...and doesn't get above freezing during the day. Not sure when I'll get to it.

Check carpart, might be cheaper to just grab a hp30 with 3.73's and swap that in, plus you would be getting hp over lp

It ain't so much what I decided to do, as what she did to herself. My exhaust manifold which has been leaking for the longest damn time now actually broke at the collector. So I'm running open headers till I figure out what I'm going to replace it with. I'm tempted to do ebay manifold for now, but on the other hand kolak sent me an an email describing Doug Thorley headers that I am also tempted to look into.

Pic of the damage.

The fact that it's next to a prius makes it that much better lol.

Back when I was young a dumb, me and some buddies took our trucks muddin. We got done and all went and got car washes since you got a discount with gas. We had 3 trucks and all went through the automatic car wash. We all 3 got done and there was a newer escalade behind my buddy and he was the last one through. We stopped by the arbys next door to get some food and saw the escalade pull out and it was half muddy and looked worse than when it went in. Turns out the mud off the trucks got all over the things that wipe down the side of your vehicle and got all over his escalade lol.

Now I feel like a dick looking back but it was funny at the time.

I sprayed of about fifty lbs of mud at a pressure wash once. There was an inch of mud on the ground. I doubt anyone used it after that.

Here is the mud I sprayed of lol.

Done that many times. Funny one was after I had gotten back from the Iron Range waaaaay up north which is a DNR park and an abandoned iron ore mine (pure red and orange mud), I was washing the ZJ and the whole bay was red. Dude rolls up behind me (2 wash stations in one bay) and asks, "Did you hit a deer or something??" And I was like, "No, just some old lady and a kid in a school zone.."

Dude was ready to kill me lol. I couldn't get, "I'm joking!" out fast enough lol.

Just ordered a Viper 5301 remote start system for $75 also a Clarion CZ501 radio since my 20 year old Pioneer has internal problems that cause the faceplate to shut off haha.
