I paid them, and then the front left brake caliper fell off while going 70mph on an exit ramp. If I had the money for a lawyer, I'd own that dealership. Instead I got my money back and vowed to never let a shop touch any of my vehicles again. Looking back, I could have put Cobra brakes on the car for $470.

Im glad you didnt need a new tranny though
Well part of the e brake broke a while ago and recently i took the drum off because i heard lots of grinding and three chunks of metal fell out. So i assume one of those pieces took out the abs sensor which i guess was a difficult part to order seeing as they kept my jeep a whole other week waiting for the part to come in. I also got new rear brake pads and my drums got turned. They probably replaced whatever it was that fell out of there too. And when my neighbor got his tranny fluid changed he said it was 400 bucks. And i got my bands adjusted too. So i may have overpaid a little bit, but they do quality work. My dad is a home improvement contractor and his prices are almost always higher than his competitions. But people still choose him because he does quality work.

Got some nice flex pictures on a toyota bought bb, shocks, sway bar bushings, and some kc's. Got half way through the lift and the front springs wouldn't go in because the front axle didn't come down enough. Any suggestions

Take your stock bottle jack and wedge it between the lower control arm and sub frame. Now jack the axle down just enough to get the spring in.

When I did my BB, I had two people help me. With the swaybar links disconnected, I had one person pulled up on one side of the axle while the other pushed down on the other side of the axle. I also rented some spring compressors from AutoZone. If you do that, you need to rent the more expensive ones.

I was leaving my house this morning to go to class, when a trans line blew. Parked it off the side of the road and walked home, to find my driveway covered in fluid So a buddies dad towed it for me up to a local shop to get a better look at it.

Booked it in for a lift kit and some new shocks to be fitted next week. Going dune bashing this weekend first, though.

that happened to me once with my old fiero on the way back to my dorm, parked it in a campus lot, then came back later with some rubber trans line, trans fluid, and a pipe cutter. cut out the bad section and fitted the rubber hose over it, clamped it down, filled her up and i was good to go. the not so fun part was there was snow on the ground, i was frozen haha

My new tire came in. hated to have to buy a new one after only a few thousand miles. Note to self: don't run over glass bottles.

hope they didnt do a full flush and run it in reverse. its ok if youve been doing it all along. if not, youre tranny will go out soon probably.
