Sold it yesterday. I am very sad to see it go, but it went to good owners who I think will take very good care of it. My worst fear was it going to some young kid who would just beat the hell out of it.

I like the gloss, flat combo. Ever think of painting the grill gloss black.

yup! I have one, I bought this new chrome one when I repainted it. I still have the black one. I should see what it looks like now with the winch stuff. OH BTW the flat coating is bedliner, it is also on the roof.

I mounted the winch to the steel bumper that I reinforced with thick walled tubing and the winch rests on a large plate. the light bar is just that...a light bar. It holds no strength , I salvaged that off of a Ford Ranger that I repaired (insurance claim) and made it work on the Jeep.
The square tubing is welded to the frame rails as well it is stitched to the bumper along with two gussets at the ends and another under the plate that you can't see to keep it from twisting down. I am not sure how strong this will be but I'll monitor it as I use it, I may have to weld on some extra mounts that slip into the rail and bolt on.
I also had to relocate my factory fog lights further apart, I wired my driving lights with the fog lights....I may toggle that one day.

So is it or isn't the winch plate mounted inside the frame rails? Is it just bolted flat to the sub bumper?
