I finally replaced the broken and wrong style header panel that was on my ZJ with a new one, changed the grill to black, added clear signal lights and corners, and painted the front bumper black, which was green on a tan Jeep. Then went and got some more pics for the current Jeep Bingo Challenge.

Next Weekend I plan on doing the back bumper and the rest of the molding black.

replaced rear windshield wiper

For a couple of weeks I tried to nurse my rear windshield wiper back to health. Disassembled it and cleaned and lubed the shaft. Re-soldered some burnt posts on the circuit board, patched the circuit board twice. Always just enough repairs to get a little life into it.

Gave up and purchased a working used one on e bay, paid $0.01 for it yes one red cent. Put it in today, it works on full time but not on delay. I dont have the balls to return it, I'll live with it.

today i put my new to me tailgate on. had to buy a new handle, and im goin to get a new wiper motor for it eventually. the new gate i got about a year ago just havent had the time to put it on. it cost me about $50 to pick it myself from a local jy. it was a perfect match and the pinstripes even matched up perfectly.
after the new gate went on i went and picked up a spare set of tail light lenses from my local jy for about $7 per lens (told them it was off a neon so they basically just gave them to me. once i got back from that jy trip, i tinted my tail lights and kept one set just in case i didnt like the look and so that i can pass state inspection easier. i must say the zeej looks 10x better with the new gate and the tinted lenses

My steering squeak turned out to be my steering shaft(before the gear box), i lubed it up with some spray white lithium and it stopped. I have a popping as well but thats the BJs

Adjusted the tuning coil on my remote start module and rerouted the antenna. Gained 100+ feet of range from it! (350ft total range) Now only if the OEM RKE system could be tuned. THAT would be helpful. There's always the under-the-chin trick i guess...

Removed both left door speakers. Complete cone surround separation. Gonna rig up some steel pieces to mount some 5.25 rockford fosgate speakers (from my xj) until I can buy the proper brackets to mount aftermarket speakers.

The head light switch. I re-soldered the board next to the plug some of them had gone bad somehow? I removed the switch and then the white cover on the back. worked for me

The headlight switch trick worked for me too. Did it last year, haven't had one flicker since.
