I spent $166 on transmission, transfer case, and diff fluids. Hopefully I'll be able to start tackling this stuff on Monday or Tuesday. On top of changing all of those in the next few days, I also plan on finishing up changing my control arms (I did the rear a month or two ago and I haven't had the opportunity to get to the front), changing the output seals on my transfer case, doing a brake job (new pads and turn rotors), oil change, transmission band adjustment, and install my Quick Discos. Then I should be good for a while...hopefully.

I was lucky enough to have a very knowledgable frontend guy look at it today, he rubbed his hand across the tires, checked all the tierods, took a couple measurements, set the toe in (it was almost an inch out). Put a different bolt in the lower trackbar mount and TADA so far so good.

I went trail riding today at wellsville ohio, broke a driveshaft, took a tire off the rim, and got a few huge dents in the pretty sheet metal.
Who would've guessed a locker and better axle shafts would help me do this?

Guess this makes me a real wheeler now huh?

What percentage of tint is that on your front windows? Did you tint ALL windows, or jsut the front windows to match the factory tinted windows??

It's a legal tint here in the UAE - 30%. All side windows are done, as is the rear screen, but not the front screen of course. The next level (40%) is just too dark for night time use.

Perhaps the photo gives a false impression of how dark it is but with blinding desert sun you need something to help keep the vehicle cool.

40% would be lighter. I believe you meant 20%.

30% reduction is the way they refer to it here (ie 70% light passage through). Therefore, 40% is darker because it only allows 60% light transmission. It's just a variation for local terminology.

Bought some new headlight assemblies off ebay (all 3 pieces for both sides); they arrived a couple days ago, but I haven't taken the time to put them in yet. Current headlights are all yellow (rubbing compound didn't do much), and the lower turn signals were cracked. The previous owner tried to super-glue a broken piece of plastic back on 1, but did a horrible job at it

I'm sorry I think your just wrong, and it's easier to just admit your wrong. For one nobody refers to tint that way, and second, there is no way that is 70% tint as you can't even see a different between clear glass and 70% tint. By that pic you have either 20% all the way around, and possibly on the front, or 5% all the way around.

^ Go easy on him. I've heard of tint being referred to that way before, although it's not common. And consider how dark the untinted windshield looks in that pic. I have no trouble believing that the other tint isn't super-dark.
