Pulled the grill, headlights, bumper cover, radiator, and all accessories off the 5.2. Getting ready to pull the motor and blow through my savings account. Can't wait for my wife to take the bar next summer. Then whole paychecks can go into this wonderful money pit.

Pulled off the throttle body and cleaned it really good. There was no carbon or anything. Still runs good.

I burnt off the last of the horribly stale gas, now its sitting empty in our driveway. Going to replace the pump, might drop the tank and clean it out. Considering replacing the pump while I have it empty as well.

if the tank is out and its been taken care of as well as the oil was i would replace the whole assembly, sending unit pump, etc.

You drive a tj, we drive a zj. We have more power while you get more shower. We get the v8 while you get there too late. You have 2 doors well, we have 2 more. Ours costs a grand while yours has a price we cant stand.

The thing is, up until my friend got a hold of it, it was maintained pretty well, I know it had at least one full tune-up when his dad had it. If possible, I'm not going to replace as much of it as possible, since I've begun to eat into my college tuition for my next semester.

Sadly decided it's to send tthe old girl to the grave. Too many problems to justify fixing any more. I have a cracked transfer case, blown VC, a failing brake booster, vacuum leaks, failing fuel pump, at least two transmission leaks, a de-threaded brake caliper, broken CV joint, broken output shaft bearings and a number of smaller problems which will cost me more than I can afford to fix! Sad sad times indeed!
She is gettign stripped of as much as I can this week and will then be gettign sent to the scrap yard on the weekend before my insurance runs out!

Exactly, it costs a bloody fortune to get mods sent over here. when I bought the IRO 3.5" lift it cost almost as much fro the lift as it did for the shipping! Same for most parts really, and there is no shops here that deal with decent ZJ mods, only TJ and JK. They are more Nissan and yota oriented here!

Wheeled the piss out it this weekend broke my first axle shaft, went deep enough to have water come in through the window and got took avantage of by a tj

Don't forget that I'd like your cold air intake (although "cold" is a relative term here!).
