Mine was stumbling and running like crap whenever I got the engine not level, or jammed the brakes hard. If its doing this I would say your intake gasket is bad

question?? has anyone changed out the rear main seal on a 5.2. do you gotta drop the tranny, or can you get to it by dropping the oil pan and removing the last main bearing cap.....havent done any research on it. just pondering...?????

No you don't really have to take the trans. off, I did mine while it was out and that was a PITA. You could just droop the axle and it will come off easy. Front axle is always in the way for the oil pan. You need to lower your axle or raise the body of the jeep higher to get to it all.

Thats what my 94 has my 93 has 125k but shows 250k got a replacement 113k

On topic: recieved this today

the irony is I already have 2wd low cuz I took the front Driveshaft out yesterday

I figure when I lock the front axle I wont be able to afford a selectable locker, so having 2low will disengage the front axle/locker and will help get through the tight wooded trails up here in the North East

Good plan. I have a cheap Aussie locker, which I love by the way, in my 98, with welded rear. It is horrible to drive on road in 4wd. Do you already have 2wd option, or does this make a 249 2wd capable

The 2low kit is for the 231 only. 249+2wd is impossible without custom fabrication of shafts, forks, rails, etc.
