This.
Never thought of it before, but that's a great idea.

Fitted the ambient air temperature sensor to go with the roof console I fitted last week. I now know that it's 34C (93F) outside at 6.30pm in the dark!

Today, I took it for a 50-ish mile ride with no point or destination. I figured this weekend is probably going to be the last nice weekend we're going to have here in a while so I made the best of being able to drive with the windows down and the music up, enjoying the scenery. It was nice and super relaxing.

Finally installed my extended sway bar links. Did some heating & beating on the pinch weld in the fender for tire clearance. Also broke in the back seat.

Installed the Kolak ignition system. Only 50K since the last tune up. Went with Champion Copper plugs.

FWIW when you do the coil it's a lot easier to pull the whole coil bracket to swap the coil. And you get the chance to clean up your vehicle grounds. On the 4.Slo anyway.

Didn't get a chance to really run it, just to the gas depot for $60 worth of work juice.

Today's ZJ action

Just bought this 95 Cherokee Limited. Noticed it drifted around on the road so suspected a steering problem of some sort. Jacked up the front end to check all the steering linkages. They all appeared tight except for the Pitman arm. It moved while the tires were rocked left to right. Should be solid. I suspect the steering box needs adjustment.

Then I removed the two running boards. According to my wife this made the ZJ look so much better. I agreed.

So, next week it's adjusting the steering box and possibly installing my 2.25" spring spacer BB lift (with the Nitro shocks) from 4Wheelcustoms. That is if it arrives in the mail by then.

Drove it to Muay Thai last night and had a strange squeek/whistle kind of noise coming from the front end which sounded like my diff when it was on it's way out last year, but no leaks so it's good on oil. So I drove it to work this morning and no more squeek/whistle. Must be a jeep thing eh?

I got the same plate, but I modded it a bit. When you put it in did you use the brackets without the threads on the outerside? I didn't cause it wouldn't fit right but it's welded in too.
