94 stock zj and a 95 zj with a 5.5" lift with 35" bfg km2 a rear currie 9in with 4.56 gears an arb and 35spine axle shafts and 4.56 gears in the front Hp30 super30 kit arb 4.1 low range transfercase

found out that the trackbar i have had on the jeep for an entire 9 months is already trashed.
so i think i am going to get an iro double shear kit as a replacement

When you checked that track bar, were you moving the Jeep or were you reaching up and moving the track bar. I have a knock underneath that sounds exactly like that and I've been thinking for a while that it may be my track bar. I can't budge it from underneath the Jeep though. At least I haven't been able to the last time I checked it.

to check just push your tire and the axle will move/ the trackbar will show movement if its bad

i was turning the steering wheel back and forth a little bit. including the track bar everything under there is new besides the control arm bushings. but those seem to be ok from what i can tell

EDIT: and by everything i mean ball joints and tre's

That's how my track bar was loose too. I had a friend watch while I turned the steering wheel backhand forth.

Pulled 2 ujoint axle shafts from jy and fell dropped them on my hand and crushed 2 fingers also painted my iro otk and ujoints green how do ya rebuild them not the same as a ds ujoint looks different

Put on my new steering stabilizer, fixed my sway bar squeek, adjusted my tcase shifter linkage, and fixed the rattling in my back hatch.

replaced computer in my zj today

I replaced computer in my 1998 Jeep today. I had to order it in from Florida. Next is to clean out the inside and get some tires. It hasn't been running since last November

I bought a Jeep rim for 10$ , a spare tire of the same size and model as mine for 40$, and mount and balance for 15$. Pretty happy about having a full size spare now! I love Craigslist.
