ALSO....... I found a 94 2door Cherokee with a solid motor and trans and new stock tires on it for sale. Guy has it but says the frame is broken and no idea how bad, willing to sell the whole thing to me for 600 bucks. Is it worth buying it for a Motor swap into my shakey ZJ or will the motor not work. In-line 6 in both jeeps btw.

If the frame damage isn't bad I might even try and get that fixed and daily it with a lift.

ordered some Bilsteins from IRO today.... about time Ive been running the stock blue upcountry shocks w/ 228k on them. It didn't help when I added a 2.25 spacer lift earlier this summer.

Well my 9 speaker amp/sub idea from a Ford Flex was a bust, but I did janky-wire in the sub to the rear speakers. The sub sounds good but also like **** because its projecting mids and highs since its hooked straight through the speakers. I am going to start to glass a hidden enclosure to fit behind the right rear trim this weekend, Ill post pics as the days go by.

I personally would pass. They look pretty worn and with the size they are, wouldn't be worth much. You're going to want to go bigger. Plus you need some pretty wide rims to run those wide of tires.

Why not get a decent of MTs with more tread and road-manners? That's what I would do at least.

i think the rule of thumb is that you dont want a tire that is more than 4" wider than your rim aka if you have a 15x7" wheel the widest tire you should run is a 11.5

Today I did a tune up on the Jeep and bought a new battery

My Jeep was on the OEM wires, ignitoil coil, cap and rotor.. 125k miles were on them

I put in the Kolak ignition kit (tune-up)
New Magnecore Wires
MSD Ignition Coil
Autolite Platinum Plugs (gapped to .039" - .040")
Cap
Rotor

As for the battery, I went with an AutoZone Duralast Gold. Seems that everyone here on JF is running that battery, plus Consumer Reports ranks that battery on the top end of their list too. PO had a DieHard Gold in there. I have no idea how old it was so I decided to buy a new one

New battery has 1000 CA and 800 CCA.. Couldn't find any higher for the CCA

Here are my pretty beat plugs, and my OEM rotor

Champion Plugs from PO

Stock Rotor... With some little ball??????

After
