put in my new head unit, still no sound. Pulled out the new speakers and found out that one is grounding out through the speaker chassis. Shouldn't be doing that! Found out I can return them, so I did the only sensible thing ...

I isolated the speaker using nylon screws and spacers. I hope they hold. Sounds great.

If at first you don't succeed, use more speed.

i just lifted my ZJ with a 3.5 " Rough Country lift and added some 1.75" spacers up front and some 3/4" spacers out back both over the original coil isolators. Netted me about 4.5" lift in the rear and 5" up front. I added some 33x12.5 R15 all terrains and have no rubbing/fitting issue.

trying to add a picture. let me just figure it out.

Did you add upper CA's and get adjustable lowers?

I did this about a month ago but I haven't posted any pics yet. They're my "new" manual cloth seats. I have the TSi leather if anyone wants to buy it from me. Here's the pics I got of my stylish new interior...

sorry for the crappy cell pics...

I thought of that. I do have a metal backing nut for the nylon screws. We'll see if it works, and if not try something else.

Yesterday was diff fluid change, transfer case fluid. Today oil change, wires and plugs, and throttle body cleaned. Think she is ready for the trip Wednesday from Washington to Arizona and back.
