He's got an 96 Orvis and when he got back from driving the niner he had a big grin on his face.
He let me drive his minicooper ss. That thing was really fun.
Always a plus

Italy, huh? I was wondering where you could possibly be moving that you couldn't bring your niner with. Parts of Europe and most of Asia would fit that bill haha

Might not be everybody's cup of tea, but I think it'll work good. Just have to make a base that i can mount to the hinge, and to mount those little braces to keep it from shifting when you have weight on it. Maybe come up with some kind of padding for the top...

I was really hoping that the guy who bought it would turn out to be Platinum5.9, that would have been hilarious.

Or this forum needs an ignore button. That would solve a lot of problems.

Almost have my heated seats all finished...driver side rear seat doesn't switch on now that everything is reassembled...might be the inline fuse. Waiting for the hardware store to open so I can get some screws for my Rally Armor mud guards so I can finish mounting those today

Not today but yesterday. Ordered up some bilstein 4600s. Had a deal too good to pass up, especially since I've been finding them for over 350 regular price at my normal e-stores.

I've got the head off, and I'm strongly considering pulling the oil pan out so I can re-ring the bad cylinder. I want to get it running on all 8 before I get it gone. I would rather put money into it and sell it running right, than hock it as a project. It's not fair to the next guy and it's not fair to the Jeep. At this point it's not even a money game, I just want to see it fire up on all 8 and feel like a real Niner.

Work is at a standstill right now, due to budget concerns. There is a possibility we may rent a hangar at the local airport, and if that happens, I'm gonna tow the niner there and finish the work indoors. If you're interested, we'll talk more at that point. No matter how I get rid of this thing, I would rather see it go to an enthusiast than some random.

enjoyed my newly installed 2wd option with copious amounts of throttle in a field. the jeep is once again fun to drive for me, as the awd was extremely limiting.
