Find a 33mm or 1 5/16" socket. Just did my 2nd reman swap friday.
I could move the input splined part with 2 fingers. Feels much better now with the new one. Now to get a rear adj t bar and go use my 1yr alignment thingy to get a "true" alignment. So that all 4 tires are even with each other.

I got a steering column cover, rear bumpstop and cup, tailgate cover, 3 cladding white clips, and a tcase skid for $25. Very happy day

Indeed it does.

Picked up my new window regulator and swapped the old motor to it. If you do this, be careful with the spring! Re-glued the clear and black plastic covering to the door with 3M Super 90 (normally used for headliner).

Got the 242 torn down and ready for cleanup and complete overhaul. Ended up twisting off a bit getting the roll pin out. We tried to pry the forks out before it broke but couldn't get it. For some reason, AFTER we broke the bit, things were aligned just right to where we could pull the mode fork out. We then pulled the rail and range fork, pounded out the roll pin and got everything apart. Everything looks pretty good, but wear items will get replaced to be on the safe side.

The chain, however, is a different story... see video.

installed 2" BB in front and I6 front springs in rear. Worked great until i broke a sway link in rear and managed to fire one of the rear springs into my face when installing it...

But i think the truck rides better without the rear sway and the F<R swap

i recently replaced all my lines front and back but I didn't replace the driver side front line. I was heading home from rausch creek off road park and I guess from having my jks quick discos and all the flexing I've been doing lately it put more stress then normal on it. and well i hit a bad pot hole in the road and I'm assuming that caused it to break. My e brake don't work lol I forgot to fix it but i just shut the ignition off and used the compression of the motor to slow me down to a safe speed thank god I have my steering wheel lock removed lol.

Did the deed. (I love how huge the second pic makes mine look, compared to my fathers)

What kind of paint did you use? I want to paint mine all black too. But I want a paint that isn't going to chip off easily.

Rustoleum satin multi surface. can says it works with plastics. but I plan to NEVER use it again. 3 coats took 4 cans and the weird "ergonomic" sprayer SUCKS. it can spray at any angle but spits and spatters no matter how much paint there is. 3 coats and I couldnt get a nice even coat for the life of me. If I were to do it again, Id get a diferant can style, Or hunt harder for the Krylon band I first ment to buy.
