Painted and installed 5.9 hood louvers. Cut out large rectangles under the vents, trimmed the hood liner, and filed down the inner edge of the drip pans for maximum heat extraction.

Are your stripes painted on or plasti dip? Also did you just follow the line on the hood and follow them off the hood?

Haven't had the time or money to get anything done in a while, until now. Replaced my distributor today and also picked up a new hub and axle shaft. Once that's done I only have a couple minor repairs to tackle until I can justify lifting it lol. Just a 2.25 bb with new shocks... god how I need new shocks.

Picked up a used brushguard for it from my buddy for $20 but it needs mounts because the old mounts are welded to the guy-he-got-it-from's jeep and a little touch up paint but not a bad deal in my opinion

Round four of power steering shenanigans. Finally said **** it, I'll fix it right. New pump, reservoir, lines, pulley, and a new PS cooler. Flushed it out with a whole gallon of fluid (no more metal flakes! Woo Hoo!) and filled it back up. Burped it and for the first time in three weeks its silent and easy to turn.

And plastidipped the wheels and painted the calipers. Because why not...

Its plasti dip. Paint was peeling bad and the front edge had some rust so I plasti dipped it like that the day I bought it. It needs to be peeled off and redone or painted because its peeling with the old paint now. I followed the raised parts of the hood along the lines and it ends up just inside the edges of the grille. When I redo it, it will line up with the edges of the grille and i'll inverse the colors of the grille.

I'll be painting my hood up like a dodge soon, I have the rusty spots along the front edge of the hood. I'm probably gonna steal your idea somewhat. Sand and paint the front edge then either plastidip or bedliner it. I gotta figure out how to feather it out to match tho if I pick bedliner. Might try that lizard skin stuff or what ever it's called. disclaimer, I'm 12oz of rum into it atm, autocorrect works for once!

Finally got the clutch fan off, good riddance. Pulled the accessory bracket and all its crap, down to the good stuff.

Found out the valve cover bolts weren't even finger tight, there's part of my oil leak. Ordered new shiny ones from summit for kicks.

Should I do the water pump while I'm in here? Everything else in the cooling system is getting replaced.

You know what would go nice with all those new power steering parts...

Might as well. If everything else is getting replaced, it just seems logical to replace EVERYTHING.

I'm so sick and tired of my Jeep being propeller-driven, but I don't want to sacrifice all my alternator (and money) to an e-fan. Wat do?

IMO, unless you can dig up a niner efan shroud it isn't worth it. I found one in a yard though and it's gonna be a big difference when wheeling. Normal driving it shouldn't matter.

Plasti dipped my stock TSi wheels today. Started to paint my brush guard, but after an hour of sanding and two coats in it started raining, so now I get to redo it!

Welded the headers back on after they broke off. Welded the rear trac bar bracket back onto the rear axle. After that broke off too.. i was rough on the Jeep this past weekend.. but the girl i took out in it liked it. So i got that going for me, which is nice.
