This Mother's stuff I found for leather is amazing. Makes the leather shiny, soft, and smells great.
Mother's brand is my favorite

Yes. Load Range E is WAY too stiff for a ZJ. The tires you want, frankly, are rated on Load Index, not Load Range. Factory tires are Load Index 104. I'm running slightly stiffer LI 109s and they introduce a small amount of feedback from pavement joints, but they feel pretty good overall, and I feel confident they'll hold up on the trail.

Load Range is based on the ply rating of a tire, whereas Load Index is based on a weight rating for the tire. Tires aren't often bias-ply anymore and tire ply is not as relevant or meaningful a rating as actual weight rating. LI 109 tires are rated to 2271lbs per tire, which is roughly equivalent to Load Range C. Load Range E tires are rated to around 3000lbs per tire, which is too stiff at the pressures a Load Range E tire needs to run at. (The 3klb rating is at 80psi)

I'd say get into some P-metric tires for your ZJ, not standard flotation.

By all means.
It's a ZJ, not an F-350.

Ideally, yes, load range E is stiffer than a ZJ needs. Airing them down a bit (but not to the point where the outside tread wears more than the center) will help, they don't need to be at full pressure when they're not at full weight capacity.

Also, in some sizes, such as the 235/85R16s I want to run, there's no choice but to run a load range E tire.

OK well to be fair... they're NOT that bad. Feels a little stiff but somehow the ZJ rides almost as well as it did on only a 2" BB and passenger tires. I'm on 255/85r16 right now (with 5.5" short arm)

Good tires, but I think I'll go for 265/75r16. The other issue is these are worn KM2'S and they're a little noisy. Being mud terrains doesn't help either.

Few things done between last night and this morning but not everything. Fixed my bumper trim piece ( adhesive wore out), new front shocks in, replaced a lug nut, plastidipped the wheels black, and fixed key fob

Surprisingly no death wobble on a 5.5" short arm lift, 33's and no alignment yet. (Doing that today)

Yeah between them and Meguiar's there are some good products out there. Mother's used to have an interior cleaner, more or less like Armor All, that had a great smell and really nice glossy finish. I bought it once and never found it again.

Ironman mounts for both jeeps showed up, I'm a little confused why the 5.2 and 5.9 are slightly different, it's just in one of the mounts too. I'm not gonna bother putting them on the niner, I've already started stripping parts off it for the green one. Green one will wait, I've got a bunch of e-fan stuff and new oil pan and intake gaskets with a new plenum plate ready to go in.

They are slightly different. That's one of the ways to tell your block is a legit 5.9.

Is it a holdover from the LA series?

Mounts are pure beef, another for the "should have done this ages ago" category.

Got all my exhaust parts today, 2 1/4 all the from the manifold to tailpipe, going to use a 5.2 tailpipe since its 2 1/4 and I have a flowmaster super 44. I am just waiting for an exhaust doughnut now but since its uninsured I can do the whole thing and loosely fit the downpipe to the manifold. I cant wait to hear the difference. Muffler was 125$, 51$ for the downpipe and 40$ for the tailpipe.

FINALLY bought and installed two new hatch supports. Its amazing how such insignificant repairs can make such a significant difference! No more fear of concussions if my old stick ever slipped out! Haha

On to handling some serious steering woes next... fml.

I just carry a pair of vise grips and lock them onto my left hatch lift and dont have to worry about getting smashed in the head anymore.
