Finally have all the lift parts in. Gotta get to ordering the other little bits.

Lower arms are about an inch longer than stock. Hope that's enough for 5".

Decided to keep it and dump my money into it... Got a list going

1) all terrain 31's, my street 31's suck
2) cobra 29 lx bt cb radio
3) cherry bomb exhaust with a side dump
4) patch up my rocker panels
5) new control arm bushings and control arms
6) adjustable track bar
7) some nicer shocks, these Monroe's suck
8) eventually ditch the bb for a short arm
9) new steering stabilizer at some point
10) more lights
11) spend all my paychecks on it

I have figured out the "empty every pocket" rule. It's not because we have to, it's because we want to!

Checked over the front end, adjusted the toe and centered the steering wheel.

So I bought a "mechanic's stethoscope" at HF once for all of $3. That thing always comes in handy, confirmed in two seconds that I have a bad idler pulley and not a bad compressor bearing. Got a pair on order now from rockauto, should quiet things down a bit. When I finally get around to replacing my exhaust she'll actually sound good.

I'm thinking my cherry bomb which will dump out before the passenger rear wheel will down out all the various whines coming from under my hood haha

Put on my roller fairlead license plate mount, new tags, offroad permit, wired and mounted my winch solenoid, serviced my transmission and front axle.

Still on the list, solder vic and headlight dimmer, straighten sway bar mount, reconnect front sway bar, clear arb marker lights, clear corners, and 242 swap.

That's one way to go about it I'm probably one of the few people that wants an exhaust that isn't loud, maybe just a little deeper that stock.

Haha...my current wish list of mods is going to be more than what I paid for the Jeep itself

Fixed my under hood light, straightened my sway bar mount, and reconnected the front sway bar.

Now it's time to have a drink and relax.

I'm another one. If I can ever save up the cash for mods instead of repairs, some kind of exhaust is on top of the list

VIC has started bugging me again over the coolant sensor when I hit bumps. Already soldered it. Might be the sensor itself someone in a past ownership rigged up. Going to just bypass the stupid thing.

I'm quite happy with a 50 series delta flow with my stock 5.9 exhaust pipe. Nice deep tone without being overpowering, and no drone on the highway. Sometimes I miss the more raw sounds of the 40 series flowmaster that was on it before, but not very often.

Filled up, averaged 14.9 mpg hand calculated!!! Holy ****!! New high score!!! Then went to go get it inspected at the only place in town that will pass it (tinted windows, tires stick out about an inch) and their sticker machine was broken... How do you break a sticker machine..?
