Who needs power steering anyway?

Oh. Right.

Wow so now I have five boxes of lift parts showing up at work. Tuesday unfortunately. Which will leave me with one weekend to lift the Jeep and another to build sliders. Ugh.

Took it to the beach after dinner last night, and with the new A/T's didn't have to use four wheel drive.

Just pulled the blankets off it from last night. Had a pretty bad storm roll through here and last thing I wanted to wake up to is a busted windshield or sunroof

trimmed my front fenders and attempted to swap my front drive shaft. of course the bolts on the rear are stuck and a socket wont fit. pb blaster where are you.

confirmed that I found a 242 from a 1994 with a v8 (at least it has a 1.55 output) so will be a direct plug in to my jeep

When I did my swap, the only issue I had was that I went from an internal slip yoke to external. That meant having to take about 3/4" off the output shaft and maybe 1/2" from the driveshaft yoke

Installed my new clear headlights. They look a little crooked because I'm missing a few screws, and all of the adjusters are pretty much gone. Epoxy time

Not today but last night found the top end for my jeep... Apparently she doesn't like to go over 95. We had a huge convoy to a fire about 45 minutes away on the highway and I just had to pass my buddy in his turbo'd miata

Looks good! What paint did you use? I'm going to go bedliner crazy one of these days I'm off and the weather's nice, that spot included
