Forgot my funnel....so I took a can opener to the bottom of a Seafoam can. Made a GREAT funnel.

Drove to the other landfill I work at......Left.....Left rear tire imitated a grenade.....put on spare.....continued home......right front tire imitated artillery shell....Several hours and $167.00 later made it home with several pieces of bumber cladding in rear end. (note to self, "get a second spare") (Second note to self, " The locals make a fine corn likker, but it hurts yer head!! ).

got tired of my center console looking like crap... pulled it and painted it with my left over Krylon Fusion... it'll be black against my tan interior but it'll still look better then before!

i built and installed some new lower front control arm brackets out of some 3/16" flat stock because i ripped the crappy factory mounts off on rocks haha i also added 2 inches to my upper front arms by welding in some flat stock to extend the axle side brackets. so much more room in my wells without doing a long arm setup for new 35s this week i know i know ima need long arms but for now this will do just fine

Installed roof basket, washed, buffed, and waxed the Jeep. Probably the first time it's been buffed in its lifetime. Looks much better imo. Pretty successful day I would say.
The roof rack. Pics of the paint tomorrow.

The fenders look pretty good, did you roll them over?

well since i did it after midnight it still counts as today.
Installed a CB
Changed my diff fluid
Wheeled it! got hung up on my IRO belly skid and sliders quite a bit, but suffered no mechanical or body damage. A lift and bigger tires is definitely in the near future

Also did you have to do any welding to the rear fenders? I was thinking about triming mine but don't wanna do it until I know if welding is needed!
Thanks

Blew up my t-case shift linkage yesterday when the ziptie holding it together snapped. With the intermediate linkage bushings now out of place, I get 2wd and 4PT, and that shift takes the full throw of the shifter. I can't get any other modes. Being that the linkage brackets are too rusted on, I'll be sending it in to have this fixed in a week or 2.

Well this weekend was a long one, I replaced the cv style axles with the set from of a TJ. Did the front to rear swap with 2 BB in front, while I was doing that swapped in a d44 in the rear. Had the parts for few weeks, to weld on d44 conversion kit from blue toch fab. from TJ to ZJ. I still have a lot more left to do.
