I will say, I sell the stuff, and VHT Niteshade sucks.
You're right. I'm not the half assed type. I'm just really terrible with a spray can. I'll probably sand them and give them another coat. And I don't like VHT. I've used it in the past and swear by Ristoleum lens tint now. It does a much better job and doesn't flake off like VHT over time. My corners have held up for a couple years now with no clear on them. I did go darker though with them than with the tails. I'm sure the tails would look better if I had the balls to go darker.

Have been and still am putting everything back together from the exhaust mani replacement/99+intake swap. Some of it has sucked, hasn't been to bad until now. Haven't made any progress in the last hour all because I just can't get the last two lower bolts for the intake manifold in. My hands are just to big to squeeze in there, gonna try using some duck tape to hold the bolt onto the socket. I've also noticed that I'm going to need to extend at least one vac hose somehow (no extra hose on hand) and the sensor that screws into the intake manifold (2 wires, cord is about 5" to short). I'm going back out there so wish me luck.

I use the vht night shape it comes out nice and shiny when done right and looks good. Hell I've even used regular spray paint to tint lights before as long as your good with a can anyway. The trick with the nightshade is patience and thin coats til you get the darkness you want.

I'm just glad the grand doesn't look like the Cherokee.

In many ways, the Cherokee looks like the baby sister to the Grand Cherokee. I can see a definite resemblance, and that's how it should be.

Got some great dw coming back from picking up the girls from school. Got her home and checked the alignment and the toe was off by a 1 1/4 inch. The tie rods are already sloppy and theyre only a little over a year old. Had to order replacements from advance so she is down for now. I shouldve converted to the wj swap when i swapped front axles. Im so tired of this inverted y steering setup. Chrysler couldve came up with a better design.

I took my cylinder head in, and the guy immediately pointed out a crack in the cylinder head, telling me it's junk. I shed a tear, but if anyone knows of a prebuilt cylinder head selling, I am interested.

Ahh that sucks. Since mobile is not very informing... 4.0?

In my experience with death wobble, I have found that if you speed up it eventually goes away. Lol. (Don't do it. Just don't. But it was a TJ).

Yeah I've seen it where it just comes out of nowhere.

I drove a 95 BMW 740i that got DW above 35mph. Guy just wanted the trans leaks fixed. Lol. I didn't even think it was possible.

Yeah dw sucks. First time today was around 40 and the second time was barely above 30. Luckily we were close to home the second time and we got back home with no more incidents.

Replaced both front lower control arms on my 160k 93 5.2. Unfortunately, this didn't eliminate the odd banging sound from the right front when hitting bumps and ruts. I've now replaced coil springs (w OME 2" lifted springs), new shocks (pro-comp) and now new lower CA's and still the noise persists. Guess I'll be doing the uppers soon too. If that doesn't fix it, I'm out of ideas.
