Ah yeah I totally missed your earlier post somehow that post made me sincerely doubt being able to fit 31's with a bb.

But hey on another note I toke advantage of the good weather and got some things done. Repainted and mounted my cargo rack and finished the wiring on my roof lights, at long last they're not just for decoration .

Drove it a little. Passed another zj with what appeared to be the elusive factory rear tire carrier. Couldn't get a pic though. Looked pretty cool in person.

Sent from...wait, where am I?

Flexed a bit even having clutch bleeding issues still had to play with it. Long arm is nice still had the jks's hooked up. Swampers look bald full of coal dirt.

Debating a glasspack and dumping it out the side with probably 2.5" pipe and maybe a 3" tip, not sure how good it will sound tho with the 4.0... Anyone run something similar?

All I need in life is my Jeep, my guns, and my wrenches... And maybe some fine women too

I can go take a video of it if you want but YouTube has been slow for uploads lately, and it's dark out

I think it sounds okay. It has a good drone around 2300 rpm that could drive ya batty on looong highway trips but otherwise its not too had. It has a real deep rumble kind of idle, at least as much as an i6 can give haha. I think its a cross of a ricer exhaust mixed in with a low pitched i6 and anything but quiet. I cant sneak around for jack in this thing lol
If i had the money, id go with something more like kolaks exhaust upgrades or something but for $400 to get everything from the cat back replaced with that was hard to beat at the time having a shop do it all.

Edit You can check out my last few Bad Drivers of Tampa Bay dashcam videos on youtube and hear how it sounds inside at the windshield, highway, city and acceleration.

I would be running a flow master but with my long arm I can't fit a muffler under the jeep so pretty had to use a glass pack its not to bad tho but I'm running a 28 inch thrush so mines fairly quite I have a smaller one and a magnaflow cat on a new downpipe I'm waiting to throw on just need to buy a new tail pipe.

Looks like I'm going the IRO route. It's all I'd ever want for this. And I've always wanted a jeep. XJ feels too cheap, any of the C/Y/T J's have no room and yeah. Could have bought a WJ, but I don't like some of their "brilliant" engineering. ZJ is the perfect Jeep in my opinion. If only they had manual V8s.

Oh uh..yeah. anyway:
-IRO upper and lower front and rear adjustable arms.
-rear adj track bar
-IRO shocks with 5" lift as the selected option
-3.5" front springs
-V8 springs front to rear
-1.5" BB front/rear
- might have to extend some bump stops
-getting some Chevy truck brake lines
-may need to replace the stabilizer. It has an RC on it already though... we'll see.

Hoping it should give me enough room to elimate the need for cutting aside from the bumper(s) and the pinch seam if necessary. Also hoping I can get the pinion angles perfect so I don't feel so nervous about the CV front driveshaft being an issue.

Grabbed one of the 255/85r16's today... that's quite the goal when I have 28's on it now. Lol.

(255/85r16)
