I did a light smoked tail light job today. It did not take long about 45mins for labor and then hour to dry. I have one of those headlight restoration kits and might use that after they dry completely and if they are really dull.

Ordered a clutch master cylinder for it along with a oil pan gasket.. noticed mine is leaking like a ***** from the front and back. And forgot to take my tools from my other home 100miles away... was going to go to the local U pull n save to find some parts..

I'm not trying to blow smoke up your *** but you should seriously replace the rear main and the oil pump while you have the pan off, its such a pain to get the pan out, if you are already gonna do it then the rear main is just another 4 bolts and $14 away. And the pump is $30 for a melling from oreilly. Simple things like that make it easier on you down the road.

Bought a 3/8 torque wrench,floor jack and 3 ton stands...going to change my shocks and coils..its so rusty around these areas it has 118k miles none of these were ever changed and just about all my shocks have the shell casing broken off..taking some nasty bumps latley so its time.

Im going to need about 10 cans of PB blaster for this...and probably a tetanus shot when im done... and plenty of beer ready

Quick question for anybody willing to answer..the rubber grommets around the shocks are so worn brittle and cracked..can i get rubber replacement grommets at any local auto chain?

^^^ new rubber "bushings" should come with your new shocks.

I drove to Atlanta to meet a guy from this forum for a hood, passenger fender and a t-case skid. Can't wait to have a non dented hood and fender again, although i will miss the better fuel economy i had with dimples. Thanks again dude!

Went to Pic N Pull and scored a stripped down 5.9 sound bar for $9.29.
Not what I was looking for, but far too good a deal to pass up.

My incredibly hot roomate with whom I've had a strictly platonic relationship drove my Jeep to the airport to pick me up. We decided to stop for lunch but traffic prevented us from making the turn into the parking lot for the restaurant. I told her to turn into the next one.

"Awww! The parking lots aren't connected!" she remarked as she eyed the grassy slope that separated the two parking lots.
"Normally, no, they aren't. But we're in a Jeep. Just drive up there."
"Really?"
"Yup."
"You're sure?"
"You're not chicken **** are you?"

My ZJ landed in the parking lot of our destination restaurant with a slight bang as the muffler took a hit from the curb at the top of the hill. She was laughing hystarically, ate quickly, and we're no longer exactly "platonic."

Jeeps are sexy.

lol theres a 5.9 at the local yard has everything but the louvers and grille =[ but it has everything else so ill have to get that sound bar anything else interesting on a 5.9 worth looken for lol.

Wheeled it pretty hard. Did great, had to tow out a high centered 4runner. Ripped part of my front bumper off
