Started my headliner replacement. Going to finish it up tomorrow. Also grabbed a new taillight housing from the JY, as mine was cracked. Also grabbed a new blinker/wiper switch, because mine doesn't have variable speed for some reason. It's either off, or full speed. But replacing that didn't do the trick. Anybody know what else to look at?

Got some factory skids and tow hooks off a '97 ZJ with the Up-Country package at the JY. I'm in the process of cleaning them up now and hitting them with some bed-liner spray before slapping them on the Jeep.

Check where the motor mounts and grounds. If it has a bad ground then it will cause it to not work on all settings.

Found out why my vents would only work on feet. The plastic arm that controls the feet position broke in the completely open position not allowing any air to reach the defrost or face vents. Going to try to jerry rig something up tomorow for it. Does anyone know where to get a part like that? I think I'm going to ask kolak tomorow if the jerry rigging doesn't pan out.

The ball end of my arm broke off and i drilled a hole in it and fed a piece of wire through it so i can control it myself

I'm amazed one of them doesn't sell or repaint their niner just so they won't have the same jeep.

This is even better since the mods are getting involved. What could be better then sittinf around listening to 2 complete strangers bicker over what works and what doesnt and what looks good and doesnt look good and its so entertaining that they actually have a few followers and then the mods have to get involved in like we are little school boys playing too rough on the playground. Are we in grade school or frigging adults?

sigh

i too like the clean look but there is no reason to ....

you know one could just stretch the wheelwell moving the stock flare closer to the headlight and door opening up the fender enough to fit 35''s without looking like a blackoutdrunk who got hold of sawzall

but that would take a grinder a welder and a little body work so it will never get done obv. because a grinder is faster and looks more redneck cool

So anyway, it's supposed to wintry mix all day, which might mean slushy roads by the end of the day. And while I do have 4WD, it seems meaningless on the wimpy balding street tires I have now.

yesterday i drove it in the deepest snow yet 14'' on 30'' tires with ice underneath the snow then i pulled up onto then backed up onto a 45* slope of rocks

not for any reason or anything , just to see if it could and it did

just say no to street treads
