Put and electric fan on the ZJ with adjustable temp control and wired a relay so the fan also comes on with a/c request. So far so good, and it was in the 90's today here in the Chicago suburbs.

Did you buy new or go to the jy? If new, which one did you use? I'm about to do the same with my zj.

Ha! Didn't even notice that! Hate that you had to "spell" it out for me. It's been a while since i've seen calculator humor.

Fortunately, I've been in school for the last 6 years and have been lucky enough to have to use a calculator almost every semester. The sad thing about that is, after 6 years, I'm still not done...with my bachelor's...

I want to do this with my 5.2. I've read an electric fan off a 90-95 Ford Taurus 3.8 clips right in, but....then what? I've seen write ups with switches that manually turn the fan on and off and a high and low speed, but I'd like something a bit more automatic.

What is this adjustable temp control of which you speak? Thanks!

Started with this

replaced it with this

spent 3 days soaking/cleaning/painting it

installed

how i routed some of the hoses. The hose that crosses in front of the tb broke last week when I did the injector swap. Used some 5/16 rubber hose to reconnect it.

all done.

total time... 2.5 hours. would have been faster if I did it during the day but its around 110 here now so I'll do my modding at night if I can.

haven't driven it yet. Need new o-rings for the injectors. Have a slight leak on the #4 injector. I'll update later tonight with the driving impressions.

Spent about a half hour making a power bleeder. After it stops raining I'll get outside and bleed some brakes.

It came with a flex-a-lite fan that I got for another vehicle, I only used the fan so I had this temp control left over. It has a temp probe you put in the radiator and then you just turn a knob till you have the fan coming on at the temp you prefer. It works great
