Installed the radio, fixed the vic, rerouted the ipod cable into the glovebox, added a power outlet in the center console, plastidipped the fake wood.

Plastidipped the fake wood? How did it turn out? I have a can loaded and ready to spray!

And also, today my Jeep saved my life. In my stupidity I tried to drive highway speeds on a highway that was a sheet of ice in 2wd. Completely slid 180 degrees and flew into the ditch going mach 30. Dirt went everywhere, it was louder than a piano falling down some stairs, and it broke the bracket that holds the battery down which also disconnected my subs and lights that I kinda wired myself. But it didn't flip over on its side, didn't pop any beads, and I didn't die. So thanks Jeep for being bad a$$.

Dammit. It's my speakers that are blown. Not to mention the bass response on aftermarket speakers sucks and I'd need a subwoofer to get any kind of fullness-of-sound, only for the low level of bass I want, I have yet to figure out how to make a sub sound good. Not to mention I don't want to go rewiring everything in this stupid Jeep just to fill up what little cargo space I have with a sub box that does nothing but drown out the rest of my music's audio.

Gah what a pain.

My sub(s) in my systems don't drown out the rest of my music in either of my vehicles. In fact, in my car, you can't even tell there's subs in there. I can crank them and get a little bass out of them if I decide I want to "bump," but my tuning allows them to blend perfectly with my mids. Having a sub overpower the rest of the system is a common misconception because a lot of people have never heard a properly setup system, only their buddy's "sounds."

On topic: I brushed the snow off of it from the last few days. It's been sitting in my driveway for the last few days and I was tired of it looking neglected.

I'll quote her... "TJ bezels look bad enough on TJs, and even worse on ZJs"

Though I can't say I'd disagree with her....
I'd be more likely to put on a hasp and a padlock.
Hey mine broke and was always opened for a couple days and then I went into Walmart and came back out and it was closed. Someone bent some of those things that stick out the back of the fuel door so it can open and stay closed

You're going to have to come down and build my system in that case.

Yah, that's the way mine is setup as well, kappas in the doors run through an alpine v12 and 2 10s. I used to run 3 jl 8w3s but lost one to a deer hoof. I also rigged up a gain controller for the subs that sits under the defroster button.
Exhaust , lifted, no carpet or headliner, windows down cruising at 65 and its like your wearing headphones. A lot of people go for loud but don't realize clarity makes loud.....if that makes any sense

I'll have to try doing that in the meantime until I can get a new/used cable....
It looks ****ing stupid with the door flapping in the breeze....

Got a full set of used adjustable control arms. They had all been rebuilt but one. When I tried to take the snap ring out both ends broke off just behind the holes. D'oh! I spent the next 2 hours trying to get it out. Punches, brute force, heat. Nothing worked. I left it soaking in penetrating oil and I'll try again tomorrow.
