I've got good shift fork out of my old 249, it may be the same, I can get better pictures if you want?

I doubt the gears the same but this is the one from 249, in the bottom right of the pic.

I know the 249 and 242 share some parts, as well as sharing the back case half so the shift forks may be the same idk

Installed my auto dim, it's starting to feel more and more like my old ZJ. Also started fixing the clips on the back of my headlights so they light up the road instead of the sky.

I <3 my auto dimming mirror. I do miss the auto temp from my old Sable though. Thinking about getting the parts to do it in my ZJ.

I got the new battery in, then took it to check out some car audio shops. I'd forgotten just how bad aftermarket speakers' bass response is compared to factory. I hadn't forgotten how much better their upper and mid response is though.

But then I remembered I've got that Infinity amp, so now I've got no idea what I'm gonna do. No matter what I do, I'm gonna have to bypass that sucker aren't I?

Nope. Well, not for just a head unit. For speakers, afaik, and from my experience, yes. It's not that good of an amp anyway.

Because that would be an easy fix... She is female, after all...

The door itself is fine, I just broke the latching pin on the end of the release cable.
I'll quote her... "TJ bezels look bad enough on TJs, and even worse on ZJs"

Though I can't say I'd disagree with her....
I'd be more likely to put on a hasp and a padlock.

Seriously, I had no idea how much I missed it until I drove 400 miles at night without it .

Damn it, that's dirt cheap if I wasn't beyond broke I'd scoop that up in an instant.
