In 20 years when you have rebuilt or replaced every part on your ZJ?
Besides your statement being pure speculation, what does that have to do with which one is more capable from the factory?

I'll answer for you, "nothing".

This is the same stuff that was said when the first ZJ come out.

Your talking 20 year old technology vs todays technology. Not apples to apples. Now put a locker and soke skids on a ZJ, throw some beefy tires on it say match them to the trail hawk, and lets see which one does better If you need all the electronics to wheel it, you dont belong in the woods to begin with.

With a name like PolkaPower it's very hard to take anything you say seriously. Not to mention you're clueless lol. Anyone that has almost 14k posts on a forum in 2 years clearly spends way to much time in moms basement on the computer.

They are nice vehicles ride in one that has tons of motor mods and then maybe you'll like them

I've been in a few sti's and wrx's with some mods that still don't impress not saying there bad vehichles just not my cup of tea as far as a new grand or Cherokee after about 20 years I think it would be worse off then a zj my zj has 230k miles I beat the hell out of it and all I've done to it in the 5 years I've owned it is a clutch from abusing it.

Original trans, engine, transfer case, front axle (even hub bearings), steering gear box...ect. The rear diff locked up this past summer. That was the biggest thing to break on it. My statement has nothin to do with stock to stock capabilities. I was just stating that the ZJ's have excellent durability. Now this statement will be pure speculation, but I bet you a ZJ will outlast the new Grands

Anyone got any ideas on what to get for under $50? Got our Christmas gifts today at work, and my bonus check went towards my phone bill. So just leaves my $50 gift card to use on something.
