Looks kinda like our club logo lol. Spent the morning loading up the Jeep with donations for the local Toys for Tots drive. There's a big run here in town where all the local motorcycle clubs get together and parade around town. This year though, they're gonna be followed by a bunch of Jeeps

After about 4 months of having the switch sitting around I finally swapped in the new neutral safety switch and have reverse lights again for the first time in years.

Hey guys, getting ready to do an oil change, reglue mirror, then inspect the jeep. Probably tomorrow. But I was wondering, on the VC what does it mean by "service 4wd switch"

That's Jeep for "ignore this message, your solder joints are bad in your VIC"
Mine tells me that about every 2 seconds, along with "Coolant level low"... it's fine....

Ah well that's annoying since every few minutes it goes "bloop bloop" but that's been while idling, not when driving.

How long are motor mounts supposed to last? I can see daylight through the ones in the green one again. I don't have the money for ironmanfab mounts right now but I don't want to waste money and toss the el cheapo ones in.

The only good thing about the VIC is the lamp outage indicators.
Aside from that it's just taking up space

Not all the time. Mine hasn't failed yet. I got a coolant low message after I did my intake both times. It was a hair below the float in the reservoir tank. I've also had rear lights fail on two seperate occasions, both of which were indicated by the VIC. Now, since I've said mine works well, I'm sure I jynxed it and it's going to not only attempt to give me every message all at once, but it's going to explode because of it.

I did the repair on my VIC 5 years ago, trouble free ever since. I like having it and have no desire to remove it. Oil change reminder, light monitor, clock, and it just belongs there. Interior in my 5.9 is next to mint, i plan to keep it that way and keep it original. My OEM stereo even still works perfectly.

Im glad that mine didnt have the vic in it when i got mine. Ive driven a couple that had it and they annoyed the crap out of me

All you have to do is spend a half hour to pull the vic out and reflow one cold solder joint and they are fixed. They are a nice feature when they work properly.

I wonder if this will work even though mine beeped itself to death, it literally jus stopped coming on one day. Oh the sweet relief I felt that day!
