This project has taken a couple days, but here it is.
Installed a AIT sensor in my intake tube. I had the sensor laying around from my modded kegger install a while back.

I used this as my guide/motivation
http://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-ra...e-iat-mod.html

Haven't mounted the switch yet, but I think the gains are correct that KRC performance says ~5hp and a hair more in torque. However with everything else I have done, I think she was starving for fuel before. With the extra fuel that is dumped when the switch is flipped I think I might get a hair more then what KRC says.

You can tell power differences better when you lose power. When I flip the switch back to read the stock sensor I can "feel" the difference at WOT and in throttle response.
I think it is worth the effort for the obd1 guys....you obd2 guys are just too smart

Just got my zj out of the shop. Had my D35 replaced with a rebuilt one
Cost $750 parts & labor. Need a new transfer case. My 249 was acting up only when pulling in parking spaces, now with new rear the front is acting up all the time. If I pull the front drive shaft on my '94 zj & use e-brake will I be ok until February?

I wouldn't do that. Just get a 242 out of a 93-(early)95 zj and swap the inputs. You should be fine if you do that.

Installed leather seats from a limited, power and all. I love it that Chrysler prewired most everything so I don't have too.

Sorry but wow, what a bad move on the d35. For that price, you could have swapped in a better axle and maybe even gears and locker. You'll just be in the same boat down the road with keeping that d35 in their. Around here you can go to a pick and pull and get an 8.8 for $100. Even if you paid someone to add brackets and install, your under $600.

You vicious coupler is going bad on your 249. Please dont pay to rebuild THAT! Dealer wants $1100 just for the VC.

This link is the best thing you could read. The first post will tell you anything you want to know.

Got the pusher fan on the front of the Radiator, pulled off the ac condensor. Seems to actually help wont know til one of those hot days to come around. at the moment it is keeping it a notch below 210 so must be doing something right. normally a smidge past 210 when idling, have the pusher set-up on a switch with a relay. hope this helps me out a bit let me know if you want to see pics.

Man, I really want to go in the opposite direction. I want to trade my TSi leather for Agate/Black power cloth. I wish I could find someone around me that wants to/is willing to trade. (non smoker vehicles would be preferable)

I plan on rebuilding my 249 should my VC go out... I don't plan on buying the VC from the Stealer though. I know they can be had for $300ish online.

Yeah, but I like my 249 (...let the flaming begin...). Who's to say if I got a JY 249 that the VC is bad or is going to go bad relatively soon? I'd feel more comfortable getting a new VC and putting it in my 249, when the situation arises.
