What does IFS have to do with anything? That Jimmy's got a solid axle, and in any case, IFS isn't itself better or worse in the stuff that Jimmy was doing for those pics.

Anyway for my part, I still haven't gotten out to do any more work on the ZJ. It's just too cold for me to bother. I still need to replace the drag link and forward control arms, then get the exhaust welded together. I'm no good at welding though, for lack of practice, and I don't have any welding equipment available. I wonder if removing the lift will abate my death wobble any.

It may not fix it, but it should help. It'll make the steering angles better, which makes it less sensitive to worn parts or other issues.

This is my general thinking. In any case, I do have the control arms and drag link already, but I never got around to buying a track bar or tie rod ends. That said, the TREs feel pretty tight so I doubt they're causing problems with play. One end of the drag link did get screwed up when I changed the steering box though, and the bushings for the CAs are shot. These things are certainly not helping.

Every single Infinity Gold ZJ has steeering wheel controlls. They are on the back of the steering wheel. If yours doesnt have them either the steering wheel was swapped out of the radio was swapped over the years. It was standard with the gold system. You should also have an amp under the rear drivers side seat.

I'm thinking mine had a new steering wheel put in then, since it was a builder.

Only in 96+. 93 - 95s didn't have steering wheel controls at all, even with Infinity Gold.

Brap, wrong, laredos could have the infinity gold system without controls.

You can swap wheels though, thats what I did in my 96.

Well, mine dont. I don't see any reason the wheel would have been switched. It was abused more then anything when I got it. Not built or customized. As for the amp. Wires where cut off at it so it came out and hit trash bin to make more room for storage.

96 ZJ sittin up 6" on 35's with 4:56's and a 12k winch. Cuz...why the hell not!?

lol i believe you. Thinking about it i dont think having the infinity system in a ZJ laredo is very common. Im not sure i have ever had one in the shop? Every ZJ i can think of that i did the amp bypass on or any other work that had the Infinity system was a limited.

No difference between the head unit with or with out infinity on the 93-98 ZJ, 93-95 was different but they are still interchangable.

My 95 Laredo has the infinity gold system, all stock :P though im throwing in a kenwood or pioneer HU in soon, stock one appears to be dead.

Fixed power antenna. It was just a little stuck. Power locks don't work, just seem to make the "click" sound like the relay or something in passenger box.
